I started training as a Sophrologist in 2012. As an experienced Organisational Development professional, I was attracted by what I felt was a missing element in personal and leadership development. Sophrology takes us beyond the analyzing, problem solving mind to address the inner states of body and mind that optimise performance and capability, and increase our sense of fulfilment and joy in daily life. My work is aimed at enabling personal freedom to be at our best more of the time and in turn, businesses that flourish as communities of value-creation for society.

My background is in corporate organisations where I gained over 20 years’ experience in learning and development, leadership talent, and culture and values in large multi-nationals. My main areas of interest are: developing culture and values-driven organisations; health and well-being in the workplace; and ‘vertical’ leadership development which increases the capacity to think and act in more complex, strategic and interdependent ways.

I provide Sophrology workshops for groups in business as stand-alone wellbeing offerings and as part of personal, leadership, and culture development programmes. I teach and am Director of Research and Collaboration at the Sophrology Academy, establishing this life-balancing practice in the UK.

As a founder-member of the steering group of the UK Values Alliance, a collaborative group aimed at putting values at the heart of UK society, I contribute towards developing awareness of values and the benefits of acting in line with our values in wider society.

I hold degree and post graduate qualifications in psychology and organisational leadership and analysis (unconscious processes), and an Advanced Sophrology Practitioner Diploma.
