I came across Sophrology during a presentation to a local women’s group; I was instantly drawn to this practical discipline combining interesting techniques, movements and guided reflective visualisations. Throughout my two-year training, I found Sophrology to be a help for coping with stress and generally helping me view life more positively in spite of familial trials and tribulations.
I read Business law and International Tax at university and my early professional life took place in the City where I worked as a tax advisor for many years. I took an extended career break to have my children, taking on miscellaneous voluntary roles in schools and in the community.
I have always been interested in personal development and in emotional wellbeing. I firmly believe that Sophrology can offer simple, practical and effective tools to help you cope with emotional upheavals. Since graduating, I have helped private and commercial clients identify which tools can help them most. My particularly interest is in helping individuals who experience sleep problems as these often lead to long term ill effects.
